Moose
June 19th, 2007 Posted in At HomeGian and I were going to adopt a second dog so Sophocles would have a playmate (besides our cat) during the day. We found a cute dog at the Humane Society named Moose. He was very friendly and cute, but someone already placed a hold on him. Today, we found out he went to that home. At first, I was a bit sad but, overall, I am happy that he went to a good home.
Tonight, we let Cheyenne play outside (on a kitty harness) and a little rat came up to him and freaked him out. The rat ran off and we put Cheyenne inside. Freaky… granted, we do live next to a giant field in the city.

Oh my gosh. Mike and I are in the process of adopting a puppy. Right now her name is Tress, but we will probably change it. She’s gonna get spayed tomorrow, and we may have her by the evening. I’m so excited.
I like to take Makalu outside and just hold him. His blue eyes look really pretty in the sunlight.
Kitty isn’t afraid of Peyton at all. But Peyton is deathly scared of him…ugh. Those wild rats got balls.
