Like I’m going to trust a government panel
August 9th, 2007 Posted in Social AwarenessA government panel is disagreeing with over 30 scientists that plastic bottles could potentially leach dangerous chemicals into beverages. The panel says the scientists are overreacting. Government panels have had a history of changing the truth, conjuring up imaginary WMD’s and dismissing major environmental concerns. I think I’ll trust science on this one. Plus, think about how wasteful all those plastic bottles are that get dumped! I’m glad to say that my office has dumped the water cooler and water bottles in favor of the water fountain in the hallway and reusable water bottles.
