Survived the mine, but not the marriage?
August 29th, 2007 Posted in HumorI read an article on the BBC today about two Chinese brothers who escaped from a collapsed mine in Beijing. The article explains how the two brothers coped with the situation, using humor and drinking their own urine to survive. However, a statement made by one of the brother’s at the end of the article makes me wonder if surviving a mining accident is going to seem minor after what he said about his OWN wife:
His brother replied: “I laughed too. I said my wife could find a rich man in Shenyang… But then I thought, I have two children and my wife is ugly, so it would be hard for her to remarry.”
He said his wife is UGLY? WTF? I know you were inhaling a bunch of coal dust, but seriously! This guy’s ugly wife is going to kick is ass.
