Car sharing tax is ridiculous
September 7th, 2007 Posted in Social AwarenessHaving to pay the 10% car rental tax on top of a nearly 9% sales tax is another example of how the officials in the city of Seattle and the state of Washington are ignorant to the traffic (not to mention environmental) problems we face. Instead of encouraging less car ownership, and therefore less cars on the road regularly, the state is punishing people for trying to save money, save the environment, and safe everyone from a traffic headache.
