Where is my mortgage assistance?
December 7th, 2007 Posted in AnnoyancesSo, I’m a little frustrated that people who knowingly signed up for an adjustable rate mortgage are getting to keep their artificially low rate for up to five more years. I realize that there were people who were misled into applying for these types of loans, but for those who were just misinformed (i.e., they didn’t read or ask questions), why should they get a break? Why isn’t someone going to help lower my rate two or three percent? All this is going to do is cause more people to sell homes they cannot afford at ridiculously low prices and cause the housing market to decline even more. Sucks…
