We have arrived in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The city seems pretty massive. We proceeded directly to the ship via a guided tour bus. The rain forest is spectacular but you become very aware of the immense poverty that faces the residence of Sao Paulo. I quickly felt self-conscious to be heading to a huge cruise ship for a two week vacation.
Once at the port, we checked in quickly and made our way to our stateroom and checked out the sweeping views of the skyline. We had a safety drill (as the picture of Gian illustrates) and were on our way. Tomorrow morning, we’ll be in Rio De Janeiro.
