Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Gian and I spent two days in Rio. One of those days happened to be my birthday!
As you can see from the picture above, I’ve had a very stressful visit.
The weather was beautiful on the first day and we laid out at the beach for hours (with appropriate sunscreen, mind you). While on Copacabana Beach, we saw all kinds of beach vendors selling water, juice, fresh caught jumbo shrimp, sunglasses, hats, and beach blankets. There are also massive hotels right across the street from the beach that look onto the ocean. It was rainy and foggy on the second day, which was when we went on a tour to Corcovado Mountain to see Christ the Redeemer. Despite the rain and fog, the giant statue of Jesus was still a spectacular sight and we had fun walking around the mountain enjoying all the exotic plant life.
