Montevideo, Uruguay

Montevideo is such a beautiful and affordable city! The architecture is phenomenal and everything is reasonably priced. The local vendors set up shop along the streets and in all of the plazas. There are also quaint restaurants with shaded outdoor dining and a ton of museums. We took some time to walk along the Rio De La Plata and visited a small contemporary art museum and a larger museum featuring the works of a Jewish artist that lived in New York during the 1970’s. While I really enjoyed Brazil, I think Montevideo has been one of my favorite stops along this trip.
