US-based airlines: you suck!
May 22nd, 2008 Posted in AnnoyancesToday, I read in the Seattle Times that American Airlines will start charging $15 to check even one piece of luggage in addition to an already overpriced ticket. Many expect other major carriers to follow suit. The airline defended itself by saying, “Some European carriers charge for every bag. … I think the U.S. airlines are watching that very closely … and they’re following them in small steps.” The difference between the US and European carriers: the flights cost less and the service is significantly better.
