Steve, you tease…
June 9th, 2008 Posted in TechnologyI know this probably sounds selfish or silly, but I was really hoping for more with today’s announcements from Apple. I thought Steve Jobs was going to have more to share related to the iPhone hardware update. Don’t get me wrong, the 3G capabilities are necessary and the GPS functionality is going to be awesome, but I honestly thought we would see a bit more. Now, I knew the video-conferenceing camerea stuff was probably unrealistic, but I wouldn’t have minded seeing a beefed up camera (with video support) on the next version.
I do think all the software upgrades are awesome and I am looking forward to them! I also think that, had I not bought an iPhone in December, I would hands down get the new edition, but I can’t justify spending even $200 for the upgrade.
