Pricey, but fun, weekend
June 21st, 2008 Posted in TravelGian and I went to go see Namaste Man at the INTIMAN Friday night. It was an incredible show and Andrew Weems, the sole performer, crafted a fansinating story about sense of place, belonging, and familiatity despite the surroundings. We also bought the Tony-Award winning recording of South Pacific at the theatre because some the proceeds went back to the theatre. It’s a fantastic recording and now I wish I could see it live in New York (any one want to buy me a ticket? ![]()
Saturday, we went to Tulalip to the Seattle Premium Outlets and I bought these awesome pants from Benetton, another pair of pants at Banana Republic, jeans at Guess (they were hot), plus a few other things. Before you judge, I haven’t bought new clothes in a LOOOONG time, so this was well deserved and remember, I have to represent Seattle well down in SF.
Now, I’m off to grab a drink, all that shopping makes a boy thirsty. ![]()
